In Monopoly Go, the launch of a new album effectively marks the beginning of a new season. You must collect a sufficient number of stickers within a specific time limit to showcase your achievements while simultaneously unlocking generous collection rewards.
With the arrival of April 2026, the latest album, Monopoly Ever After, is set to launch. Unlike previous albums, this release brings with it not only a fresh set of Monopoly Go stickers but also a host of new features!
While this isn’t the first time the game has introduced mechanical changes through an album update, the sheer volume of new features this time around is significant and certainly warrants closer attention.

Monopoly Ever After launch date
This album will launch immediately following the conclusion of the current Posh Pets album, going live on April 8, 2026. It will run until June 3, spanning a total duration of approximately 56 days.
Although the duration of each Monopoly Go album varies slightly, they typically fall within the 50-to-70-day range.
Consequently, new album is not a particularly long-running album, so be sure to make the most of your time to complete your Monopoly Ever After sticker collection!
New stickers and collection rewards
The album is themed around the world of fairy tales, featuring 216 Monopoly Go stickers distributed across 24 distinct sets, including 27 coveted Gold Stickers.
Each set corresponds to iconic objects related to a specific narrative, or represents a classic fairy tale in its entirety, such as Cinderella, Frog Prince, and others.
Upon completing each individual set, you will receive rewards in the form of cash or dice rolls, providing you with the resources needed to tackle subsequent in-game events and unlock even more stickers. Additionally, certain sets may also offer decorative items as rewards.
Furthermore, once you have successfully completed all 24 sets, you will unlock the following ultimate rewards:

New album exclusive feature: Enchanted Storybook
As you know, almost every Monopoly Go event offers sticker pack rewards; however, you can never predict exactly which stickers you’ll get when you open them.
While duplicate stickers certainly have their uses, you undoubtedly prefer receiving new, rare stickers. To address this, Monopoly Ever After album introduces Enchanted Storybook feature.
You will be rewarded with a Storybook as you progress through the event milestones. Upon opening it, you will receive a special limited-edition sticker pack tied to the mid-to-late-game sets within Monopoly Ever After album.
Furthermore, based on your current collection progress, you can freely choose which specific Monopoly Go sticker set you wish to target with that pack. If your plans change later on, you can also switch your selected set.
Additionally, opening each Storybook triggers Lucky Fairies, bringing you extra rewards. Based on similar past game mechanics, IGGM speculates that these rewards will probably consist of dice and cash.
While it remains to be seen if future albums will retain this specific mechanic, the difficulty of collecting Monopoly Ever After stickers has certainly been reduced thanks to this addition.
Additional feature adjustments
Beyond Enchanted Storybook, the current Monopoly Go season has also updated or temporarily paused certain evergreen features to ensure the game remains engaging and playable without becoming cluttered or redundant.
Introduction of new features
First, as you participate in tournaments, landing on specific tiles will trigger either Shut Down or Heist mini-games; the system then rewards you with points based on your performance in these games.
With the launch of Monopoly Ever After, these two mini-games will be upgraded to their Fairytale versions! These updates alter the gameplay mechanics to give you the opportunity to earn even more points:

Fairytale ShutDown: Instead of destroying buildings as in the past, this hide-and-seek mini-game now requires you to find hidden piglets.

Fairytale Heist: The patterns revealed when flipping cards now feature hidden gems, offering you additional rewards.
Furthermore, the game has introduced Ever After Chance Cards, which allow you to instantly trigger a Shut Down or Heist mini-game. This serves as a massive boost to help you complete the new seasonal events within Monopoly Ever After.
Speaking of events, a significant event type, racers, will introduce a new feature called Flag Drop. This allows individual teams to collect flag tokens before the race officially begins, thereby increasing their chances of securing a high-ranking finish.
The final new mechanic, Rolling Ever After, is a community-driven feature. By participating in community polls, you can help determine the direction of the storyline; ultimately, based on the final outcome, you will unlock shared community rewards.
Suspension of existing features
After all, Monopoly Go is a mobile casual game and cannot simultaneously support an excessive number of gameplay modes.
