WoW MoP Classic Phase 1 will introduce three new raids, and Mogu’shan Vaults with six bosses is the first.
Here, EZG will show you how to defeat these six bosses and complete Mogu’shan Vaults to win all the loot. Read on if you need more information!
Stone Guard
There are six bosses in Mogu’shan Vaults. Stone Guard is the first line of defense, consisting of four bosses.
When two bosses are in proximity, they gain increased power. When they reach 100 power, they deal damage in a wide area. However, when they appear alone, they do not deal with this area-of-effect damage.
These bosses take turns casting spells, which makes them all invulnerable. Therefore, players should interrupt the bosses’ petrification spells when their characters are at their best, when they are dealing the most damage.
Specifically, we can use one tank class to fight the boss casting petrification skill, and two off-tank classes to fight the other two. We can then rotate between attacking these bosses. This way, they won’t reach 100 energy quickly.
However, to survive the boss’s intense spell attacks, you must improve your armor and defense stats, so spending some WoW MoP Classic gold to get a set of the best equipment is essential.
Also, we need to stay away from Amethyst pools and Cobalt Deposit, as touching them will damage or immobilize them. We can use a tank class to clean them out.
Feng The Accursed
Feng the Accursed is the second boss we encounter in Mogu’shan Vaults. Its weapons vary depending on its phase.
In Normal mode, its phases follow a fixed sequence, spanning three phases. However, in Heroic mode, two changes occur.
First, it enters its fourth phase using its new weapon, the shield. Second, we can control which phase it enters by moving it near surrounding weapons.
We can have the tank class pick up the two crystals in the room to gain additional skills to help with different mechanics.
The skills granted by the crystals are:
- Damage Reduction, which prevents damage from magical effects.
- Shroud, which applies a stack to the enemy, causing the next skill they are hit with to deal with additional damage.
The tank gains stack points during each phase, ensuring it transitions between phases before dying or reaching the stack point cap.
Finally, we can actually choose to kill Feng the Accursed in this order: staff, spear, shield, and fists.
Gara’jal
Gara’jal is the third boss in Mogu’shan Vaults. During the fight, the boss summons totems. Destroying these totems sends up to five nearby players into the shadow realm.
The totems deal damage to the raid, so a team of four DPS and one healer is required to eliminate them.
Players entering Shadow Realm will have their health reduced to 30%, but after healing through healing, they will gain buffs, increasing their DPS damage and mana regeneration.
Healers can take turns entering Shadow Realm to heal their teammates, depending on who needs health most. Once a player’s health is restored to full, they can leave Shadow Realm, but if they don’t leave within 30 seconds, they will die.
Therefore, healers must quickly heal their teammates and evacuate.
In Heroic mode, healers cannot reenter Shadow Realm for 30 seconds, so the team must split into two groups and take turns.
Therefore, a well-coordinated team is crucial to traversing the Shadow Realm unscathed. The Spirit Kings
Spirit Kings is the fourth boss we’ll encounter. In this boss encounter, we will encounter 4 phase bosses, namely Zian of the Endless Shadow, Meng the Demented, Qiang the Merciless, and Subetai the Swift.
In Normal mode, you only encounter one boss at a time. In Heroic mode, the next boss spawns when the current boss’s health reaches 30%, necessitating two tanks.
The Spirit Kings is a challenging encounter, as each defeated boss retains a powerful ability that can be used against the team for the remainder of the fight. As players defeat more bosses and face a growing number of retained ability combinations, the fight becomes increasingly difficult.
However, since the boss order is fixed, strategic planning and predictable ability combinations are possible. Don’t feel bothered, as the massive WoW Classic MoP gold reward that drops at the end will make it all worthwhile.
Elegon
Elegon is the fifth boss encountered in Mogu’shan Vaults. The fight consists of three phases. In the first phase, the boss will perform Celestial Breath, so the main tank must face Elegon away.
In the second phase, the boss will continuously cast Draw Power. Killing monsters increases the boss’s debuff stacks. Be careful to reset stacks when spreading out to kill monsters and avoid area-of-effect damage.
At the beginning of the third phase, the boss becomes immune, requiring the raid to split up and destroy it. The boss will deal raid-wide pulse damage and spawn bomblets. Once the bombs are destroyed, pick them up and use area-of-effect damage.
Everyone in the raid needs to continuously stack damage on the boss until it’s finally defeated.
Will Of The Emperor
Will of the Emperor is our final encounter in Mogu’shan Vaults. We’ll face two of the emperor’s lieutenants, Qin-xi and Jan-xi.
This final encounter is divided into two phases. The first phase is all attack-only. In this phase, we will encounter three types of monster attacks: Courage, Strength, and Rage.
We need to assign two melee DPS to attack and learn how to dodge. If we successfully dodge all the boss’s attacks, we’ll receive a button that deals an additional 500,000 damage.
Once we’ve obtained this bonus damage button, we can use it directly on the boss for even greater damage.
This concludes the guide to defeat the six bosses in WoW MoP Classic’s Mogu’shan Vaults. I hope it helps you complete the level quickly.
